How Dynamic Sync is funded

This page describes the only commercial arrangement behind this site, in enough detail that a reader can judge for themselves what it might influence. Nothing here is written in small print, and the same information appears beside every paid link on the site rather than only once.

The arrangement, in plain terms

Dynamic Sync takes part in the affiliate programme for one product: Star Stable Online. When a reader follows a link from this site to that game’s website and goes on to create an account, the programme records that the visit came from here and pays BOGIREN s.r.o. a commission.

The commission is paid out of the programme’s own marketing budget. It is not added to anything a reader pays, and it does not depend on a reader spending money — the arrangement covers account creation. A reader who follows a link, looks at the vendor’s site and closes the tab costs nothing and generates nothing.

That single arrangement is the entire revenue of this site. There is no display advertising, no sponsored content, no paid placement, no product sent for coverage, and no other affiliate programme.

What the commission does not influence

• The definitions. Every entry in the glossary describes how a term is used across the category. No definition is softened, and no mechanism — premium currency, recurring billing, randomised items — is described more kindly because of the arrangement.
• The order of pages. Sections are ordered by the sequence in which a reader meets the vocabulary, from sign-up through to consumer rights.
• What is left out. Prices, availability, system requirements and classification decisions are absent from this site because they change and belong at the source, not because omitting them helps anyone commercially.
• The cautions. The warnings on this site about recurring payments, token currency arithmetic, trading with strangers and chat settings apply to the title covered exactly as they apply to any other.

What it does influence, stated honestly

One thing, and it is significant: which title appears here at all. Star Stable Online is the worked example on this site because of the affiliate arrangement. Another publication, with a different arrangement, would have used a different title for the same purpose.

This is why Dynamic Sync publishes no rankings, no scores and no comparisons between titles. A site paid by one programme cannot credibly place that programme’s product above products it earns nothing from, and declaring the conflict would not fix it. The honest response is a narrow scope, openly described, rather than a claim of independence the funding does not support. The about page sets out the editorial method in full.

How paid links are marked

Every link on this site that earns a commission carries all of the following, without exception:

• A sentence immediately next to it saying that it is a paid link, that a commission is paid if an account is created, and that the reader’s price is unaffected.
• The rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" attributes, which tell search engines the link is paid.
• A destination visible in the browser’s status bar before the click. Links are not routed through this domain, not assembled by script, and not changed when clicked.

Links to Australian government bodies, and any other link on this site, earn nothing. They are included because they are the authoritative source for what is being described.

What this site is not

Dynamic Sync is not the official site of any game, not a reseller, not an authorised distributor and not a partner beyond the affiliate arrangement described above. It cannot create, restore, suspend or refund anything on anyone’s game account. Star Stable Online and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners, and Dynamic Sync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

Australian law and this disclosure

Under the Australian Consumer Law, misleading or deceptive conduct in trade or commerce is prohibited, and the prohibition applies to a publisher describing a product it earns a commission on. Disclosure is part of how this site meets that obligation; the other part is not making claims it cannot support. The ACCC publishes guidance on advertising and selling, including the treatment of paid endorsements and testimonials.
